Appealing and expressive on the nose.

Dried strawberries and crimson plums, developing some more savoury layers of spices and cedar wood. With long yet velvety tannins, this wine shows both integrity and complexity.

    Climate

Warm and dry weather conditions, ideal for grape maturation with a temperature range of 20-25 degrees with cooler nights. The dry weather allowed the grapes to ripen evenly reducing our need for extensive vineyard management.

    Harvest and winemaking

All of our grapes are handpicked over a 3 week period. Then the wines had between 14 to 16 days on skins with an average of 5% whole bunch. Most of the wines are fermented with indigenous yeast from the vineyard.
