A subtle and delicate nose – green apples & baked quince. Salivating and moreish acidity, dry and long finish. Rich density – bright but firmly grounded.
A generous wine with great cellaring potential.

Growing Season
The season commenced around two weeks earlier than normal and we manged to navigate some extremely cold mornings in spring with minimal frost damage. The flowering period was wet and unseasonably large diurnal swings in temperature resulted in yield well down on average. The threat of sub tropical cyclones around harvest never eventuated with very dry conditions allowing fruit to be harvested at optimal maturity.
Harvest
This was our earliest start to vintage ever beating the previous earliest by around a week.
A drawn out harvest spanning 41 days with the first pick on the 27th February and the last on the 8th of April
Chardonnay: 11th March to the 25th March
Chenin Blanc: 26th March to the 8th of April
Pinot Noir: 27th February to the 28th of March
