Growing Season

In spring we navigated extremely cold mornings without any substantial frost damage. The early part of the growing season was wet with an inch or so of rainfall every 1-2 weeks. This kept growth of the vines and weeds very happy. Following this we saw virtually no rain until the end of March.

Harvest & Winemaking

Harvest was the earliest start on record – 20th February through to the 8th of April with the biggest day being a whopping 4.7tonnes of Chenin Blanc. A total of 72 tonnes harvested at an average of 4.3 tonnes per hectare.
