A subtle and delicate nose – green apples & baked quince. Salivating and moreish acidity, dry and long finish. Rich density – bright but firmly grounded.
The 2022 Libby’s Block is sourced from a single clone 220 on our two dam-side blocks. The elevated blocks are nestled in the foothills on undisturbed clay soils overlying greywacke parent rock. Vine age approx 15 years.
Basket-pressed on-site at our newly constructed gravity-flow winery. Lightly foot-stomped.
The largest harvested was 801 grams, a record.

Elevated blocks on clay loam with north to north-west aspects.
Viticulture
Organic certified, farmed using biodynamic practice. Clone 220.
Harvest
Hand-picked from 31st March - 11th April. An average of 10.8 tons per hectare yield.
Vinification
100% wild fermentation. No additives other than sulphites.
Maturation
50% stainless with remainder in new Austrian oak demi-muid.
